My love for You

I have loved life,

All my deed passes into wilderness of love,

That all the minutes in the world cannot put in rife,

My thought that I have accrued about you, Jove!

A purple being bobbing in meadows on summer’s night,

Promising to oar in the river on the morrow,

Passing the current to see me in full light,

Just in case love is awakened , kindly borrow

The fire from it,

The fire that ape,

That I once was fit,

Invented in the cave,

And now in sophistication of romance,

I wear witness to the fire,

And propose the gravest songs of chance,

In tandem with lyre,

And what’s a flower but a miniature of beauty.
