A Glimpse of Night

The road strolls forward stepping by the bridge

Two guys dig loose signal asking me to stop

I halt the scooter before reaching the edge

The guys plead for money called mercy-pop

I am heading to return the fancy dress for kids

Sliding the door I meet the owner grown cold

Two women in thirties haunt for their bids

To rent fancy dresses for their baby lore as told

While the elders walk on the wrong side

I chew my forsaken pride and halt

Visit the temple by night ride

And look up for the heaven’s vault.
